Hi!
I am just a public fan who has been following through the CSS competition from the time you sing “Cinderella” to the Grand Finals of CSS.
After watching your performance on Sunday night, I must admit that you truly deserved the title of Overall Female Champion. My whole family supports you throughout the whole competition
Though you did not clinch the title of CSS, but you did not let your supporters down because you have already put in your best efforts. Those who have supported you would understand that it is not an easy feat to memorize and sing a few songs in a single night. Throughout the whole CSS competition, you have performed and sing all the songs well.
Success and failures are parts and parcels in our lives. There will always be ups and downs in our lives. Just treat this CSS as part of a learning experience in your life
To encourage you to emerge from this setback, I will share some facts about myself. I did not do well in my O levels but I did not give up on myself. I have gone through ITE education, and took part time studies in SIM. Throughout my 5 years with SIM, I have obtained my certificate, diploma and degree.
Hopefully, this little setback will not bogged you down permanently because this will make your parents worry about you. Especially your dad who is working in Taiwan. Don’t give up on singing because this is one of your hobbies or pastimes.
Tonight (03/04/06), I am glad to see you appearing in the celebrations of CSS. However, from the TV, I can see clearly that there is a sense of sadness and disappointment on your facial expressions.
From the Lianhe Wanbao dated (03/04/06), you mentioned that you have let your teachers, schoolmates and those parents who have been helping and supporting you in your school down but I am sure that they will understand that you have already done your best. In fact, I strongly believed that you have already obtained fame and glory for your school. Just think from the initial selection of contestants to the last 4 finalists appearing in the Grand Finals of CSS.
To be frank, I would be glad to have a friend and sister like you because you have shown great perseverance and determination in performing well in the semi-finals even though your old ailment (spine injury) has reoccurred.
Continue to “believe in yourself” and tell yourself “I have what it takes to achieve what I want”
Since CSS is over now, then it is important for you to concentrate on your studies.
Only by working hard and obtaining flying colours in your studies, then your teachers and schoolmates will think that you have not let them down truly.
Your parents will be happy to see you performing well in your studies as well
