Hi faithful supporters of Teresa!
ALL of the following are just my suggestions for helping our dearest Teresa's designated SPOP song Yu San 《雨伞》to progress further into the SPOP competition.
Why do we faithful supporters of Teresa want to do that?1) Teresa is our beloved Campus Superstar!
2) Teresa will get to make a Music Video if this song gets to the SPOP Semi-finals! Online voting results will determine the Top 6 compositions that make it to the Semi-finals. Music videos will be produced for the Top 6 compositions that made it into the Semi-Finals. These music videos will be featured during the S-POP HURRAY! programme.
3) Teresa will get to perform this song onstage on another high-profile stage if this song gets to the SPOP Grand Final! The finale of S-POP HURRAY!, also called S-POP Music Gala will be held on
March 23, 2008, where the final 2 compositions will be performed ‘live’ and the ultimate winning composition will be determined via SMS voting and Telepoll.
4) We want Teresa to continue her quality singing for everyone to hear!
I completely understand that Teresa will not get the full credit because this competition is about songwriters and their song compositions but this is another valuable opportunity for Teresa to be onstage and I believe as supporters of Teresa, no matter what the format of the competition is, we have to do our best to put her onstage so that her talent will continue to be noticed by every single person listening and watching her sing.
What do we need to do for all of the abovementioned to happen?1)
Vote for the song! Online voting will close on
Jan 21, 2008 at 2359 hrs. Go to the SPOP voting website at
http://spop.mediacorptv.sg/voting.htm . Register and start voting. Voting is free and every member can vote up to 10 times every day!

Publicise the song Yu San as much as possible. We need this song to be heard over the Internet often enough so that people will recognize not only the song but Teresa's superb rendition of the song. To do that, I will need the help below. Remember, all these are just my suggestions and I hope everyone is motivated to help because of their love and support of Teresa!

Idollic.com Administrator: Is it possible to embed the song onto the fanclub website using IMEEM? I have the song at my blog at
http://heaven-earth-human.blogspot.com/ already. You can copy the IMEEM embedding from there.
2b)
Kimmy and Jiaxin: Is it possible to embed the song onto the fanclub Friendster and Blog websites so that other supporters who don't frequent the main idollic.com fanclub gets to listen to the song as well? Both of you can copy the IMEEM embedding from my blog as well. Yes, please copy all the songs on my IMEEM player. I will explain the reason why later.

All faithful supporters of Teresa who has a blog, friendster or facebook account. All of you can also embed the song from my blog as well so that as many people can reach the song as possible.
Now, why do I need the whole IMEEM player embedded instead of only Yu San? This is because I don't want the people to get sick of the song and thus prevents them from liking it enough to vote.
It's still quite some time from 21 Jan 2008 and thus I want the song to be durable enough on the listeners' ears. Moreover, I can also use the other songs to positively feature Teresa's progress of singing to all those not familar with her singing skills.
Therefore I am mixing Yu San with Teresa's Christmas song, Teresa's theme song from Let It Shine and Teresa's Ai Mei from Campus Superstar Album. Please kindly set the IMEEM player to autoplay before embedding the songs.
What is our progress on the voting of the song thus far?As of 17 December 2007 Monday 9pm, the song Yu San has already reached the top five positions in terms of vote count so we are actually making some progress already.
But we must not be complacent because the song is up against formidable Superstar singers' supporter bases like Diya Tan, Nathaniel Tan so voting efforts must continue until Teresa's song successfully mounts to the Semi-finals or the Grand Finals of the SPOP competition!
