What a year….from a normal school girl all the way to Campus Superstardom. Bet you never would have thought your year from 15 to 16 could be so incredulous.
It has been quite an interesting year for me too. Never did I expect to step forward to accompany you all the way up till now. My friends thought I was crazy but I have learnt so much since. I believe you have experienced much of life this year too.
I am not good with gifts, presents or nice words of praise and you will probably receive so many exciting presents and accolades today that whatever humble gift I can afford is probably a distant twinkle in the galaxy of shining stars.
Yet, without something to commemorate your 16th birthday seems not right either. So I decide to choose a song for you, a retrospective birthday present, especially when you would have already heard all the nice kudos and praises and well-wishes from so many who loved you and will continue to do so.
What I liked about the following song is that every time I listen or sing the song, I always find something inside the song that touched some part of me. I don’t know how it will work for you but I hope the song will touch you just as much as the Happy Birthday Song.
